The recent table top sale at James Lloyd Trust Almshouses raised an incredible £303. The majority of the money came from a special raffle and the table top sales. Entry fees and the sale of a cake – made by resident Mrs. Griffin – and biscuits donated by the local shop and Post Office, raised a further £28.
At the end of the day £50 was donated to Woodlands Nursery, Bournville. The remainder of the monies raised will pay for the James Lloyd residents’ Christmas party, which will be held in the common room, on 13th December.
