A big thank you to all who attended our pre-loved sale in aid of Dementia UK. We are happy to announce that we raised £262.50 for the charity. It was also a lovely day and great to have fun and meet new people in the community.

As always our residents did not disappoint and supported this very worthy cause as usual. Whilst enjoying the company, the auctioneers entertainment! coffee, tea and a slice of cake, we raised a fantastic £380.11 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We had a lovely day at the zoo today, the weather was glorious and the animals were beautiful. Definitely worth a visit. A huge thank you to our driver from Kings Norton Coaches for making our drive so comfortable.

Celebrations for the Queens Platinum Jubilee were underway as we were entertained for the afternoon by local entertainer John Dale with his musical history tour from the 1940’s right up to the current date. Smashing.
Great day out for our residents, full of nostalgia and family memories of the past and remembering that you’re never to old to play on a swing!! Will be great to return once the new street and pub have been completed next year.
